Junior UniversityVALLEJO MUSIC THEATRE JUNIOR UNIVERSITY

In our 2006-2007 season, VMT realized a long-term dream and established our Conservatory for the Performing Arts.
This Junior University has been a lifeline for local schools, providing access to the performing arts for Vallejo’s children and teens. The program also helps to build future audiences by helping to foster an appreciation of the performing arts through participation.

Pay or Play
The Junior University Program is set up to support scholarships. We have created a program for parents and older teens who intend to pay their own way called “Pay or Play”. The Pay or play program allows for participants and their parents to either pay for the entire class, volunteer their time to support the teachers and activities of the Junior University Program or a combination of both. There are limited slots available for full scholarships so please act quickly. For full details please call 707.649.ARTS (2787) X 702

Spring Conservatory

We are now offering theatre basics class for children and teens in grades 1 through 12.
This introductory program will introduce kids and teens to the theatre by sharing the most basic information in a fun and entertaining way. The spring conservatory is a 6 week course in theatre basics that will lead to a showcase of the young performers doing songs from the MGM Musical “The Wizard of OZ”.
